Applications consist of name, mailing address (valid through July), phone number, e-mail (valid through July), GSA member number, social security number, title and co-authors (if any) of abstract. Please use our secure Travel Grant Application Form (link available on the Section meeting website or annual meeting website only during pre-registration period) to submit this information.

A student can only receive one travel grant per meeting. You will be notified of your application status before the cancellation deadline. Checks will be mailed to you after the meeting. You must check in at the registration desk to show ID. Checks will not be mailed to you if you did not check in during the meeting.

The GSA Foundation has awarded $4,500 to each of the six GSA sections. The money, when combined with additional funds from the sections, is used to assist both undergraduate and graduate student members of GSA. Thanks, GSAF!

Individual award amounts typically range from $300 to over $700 depending on the number of students applying, funds available that year, and travel distance to the meeting.
