The Dept. of Geosciences, Univ. of Akron, Ohio has graduate assistantships available starting in fall 2024 for students who have the drive and curiosity to succeed in graduate school. Examples of the on-going research include studies in geo-biology, environmental geology, cave studies, climate records contained in lake sediments, rock mechanics and structural geology.
