There are many ways in which you can assist in GSA’s efforts to support the geoscience education community.

Connection, Awards, & Recognition

Nominate a colleague or yourself to serve on the GSA Education Committee.
Join the GSA Geoscience Education Division and collaborate with other members interested in education.
Nominate a pre-college educator for the NAGT Outstanding Earth Science Teacher (OEST) Award.
Nominate a college-level educator for the Biggs Earth Science Teaching Award.

Create & Share

Submit an education-related abstract to a GSA annual meeting or Section meeting, or mdawson@geosociety.org to give a presentation at a GeoTeach event at a GSA annual meeting.
Write for the GSA blog—discuss a new education product, resource, technique, etc.
Organize an event for AGI’s Earth Science Week.
