Edit Work Schedule

  • FREE meeting registration if you work 10 volunteer hours (no need to pay upfront).
  • PLUS US$25 stipend for every 5 hours that you work as a volunteer.
  • PLUS free Abstracts with Programs volume by volunteering 15 hours.

  1. Make sure you are a GSA Student Member in good standing. Join GSA (if not already a member). Not sure? Check status
  2. Sign up as a student volunteer.
    NOTE: The Student Volunteer program is fully subscribed and new volunteers are not being accepted.”
  3. Lastly, register for the meeting (click the "I am a Student Volunteer" button).

Editing Your Work Schedule:

Jobs fill quickly, and there’s no guarantee you’ll get ten hours or the jobs you want. Check back frequently to Edit Your Schedule to add, change or delete jobs. You can Edit Your Schedule up to and through the meeting, but will be charged the US$30 cancellation fee if you cancel all your jobs after 24 October; or US$109 if you attend the meeting without volunteering. More information in the FAQs.


Your commitment to work means that people are depending on you to be there to perform your assigned task. During the meeting, if you are unable to meet your work commitment, notify the Student Volunteer Office or . Cancellations after 24 October will incur a US$30 cancellation fee that will be charged to your credit card.
