Visiting Assistant Professor, Earth Science, Non-Tenure-Track, Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Toledo

The Department of Environmental Sciences at the University of Toledo invites applications for a 9-month Visiting Assistant Professor in any field of Earth sciences to begin 20 August 2018. Successful candidates will possess a Ph.D. or be ABD in geology or closely related science with a strong commitment to teach, and ideally a demonstrated success of teaching at the undergraduate level. The primary duty will be to teach introductory level geology and environmental science courses, including regular classroom courses and online courses, some of which were previously developed within the department. The expected teaching load will be 3 courses per semester.

The Department (http://www.utoledo.edu/nsm/envsciences/) consists of 21 faculty with approximately 35 graduate students and 200 undergraduate majors, offering a variety of environmental, ecology and geology degree programs.
