Lab Instructor of Geology, Full-Time, 1 Year Term, University of Tennessee at Martin

Qualification: Earned Master’s in Geology or related field from an accredited college or university required by effective start date. Undergraduate-level laboratory teaching experience is preferred. Applicants should be able to communicate and teach effectively in English.

Responsibilities: The primary teaching responsibility includes the laboratory instruction for introductory-level physical and environmental geology. Secondary responsibilities include assisting faculty with lectures, labs, and fieldtrips.

The Department: The Department of Agriculture, Geosciences, and Natural Resources at UT Martin offers Bachelor of Science degree programs in Agriculture, Geosciences, and Natural Resources Management. Concentrations in Geosciences include Geology, Geography, and Meteorology with a total of 13 concentrations and pre-professional programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources Management. Current enrollment is approximately 700 students with 30 full time faculty and staff members including eight in the geosciences.
