Visiting Lecturer, Geology

California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California, invites applications for a one- to two-year appointment as a Visiting Lecturer in Geology to begin Fall 2017. Candidates must possess a Master’s or Ph. D. degree in Geology, but a Ph.D. is preferred. Teaching responsibilities will include both introductory lecture and lab courses as well as advanced undergraduate courses in the individual’s area of expertise. The successful candidate must be able to teach Physical and Historical and one or more of the following: Paleontology, Mineralogy, Igneous/Metamorphic Petrology, Environmental Science, or Water Resources.
