Pre-Doctoral Fellow – Historically Underrepresented, Department of Earth and Environmental Systems, Indiana State University
The Department of Earth and Environmental Systems (degree programs in: anthropology, environmental geoscience, geography and sustainability, and geology) invites nominations and applications for its unique pre-doctoral fellows program focused on the career launch of faculty from historically underrepresented backgrounds. Fellow will be part of a campus cohort of three fellows receiving degree completion and teaching excellence support, as well as career mentorship. We seek candidates who are ABD with all terminal degree coursework completed who seek an academic career with a university where teaching quality is emphasized and multiple forms of scholarship encouraged. When appointments are well matched and the candidate desires to remain at the institution, it is intended for the position to be converted to a faculty line.
