Geoscientists-in-the-Parks (GIP) Program - Summer 2017

GSA is now recruiting applicants for NPS Geoscientists-In-the-Parks (GIP) opportunities taking place during summer 2017.

GIP participants have the opportunity to work at a National Park and gain valuable work experience.
Participants are paid a minimum of $1,200/month stipend, travel allowance, provided housing (or a housing allowance) for the duration of the project, and will be eligible for an AmeriCorps™ education award. Students and recent graduates who are United States citizens or permanent legal residents with a background in natural resource sciences are eligible for the program.
