This is a brief meeting for OTF participants (and their sponsors) to discuss effective mentoring relationships and networking opportunities for underrepresented students at the GSA section meeting. The goal is to accelerate the process of becoming engaged and involved members of our scientific and professional community. OTF is a new grass roots initiative of The Geological Society of America (GSA).

The GSA Foundation has funds available for student travel grants. You must be registered for the meeting BEFORE you can apply. The form will be available only during the pre-registration period. Please review the eligibility guidelines.
GSA's Rocky Mountain and Cordilleran Sections will cover meeting registration for student volunteers in return for 6 hours of work. Students interested in volunteering should contact the Student Volunteer Chair, Nick Atwood.
