Student Travel Grants
GSA has awarded 361 student travel grants for this year's meeting! Attendee donations, funds from the GSA Foundation and a USGS Grant, and some GSA Section contributions have created an impressive grant fund of $27,009, all to help students attend the meeting. Thanks to everyone who donated in support of the next generation of geoscientists!

Congressional Science Fellows Panel Discussion and Reception

Geoscience Legislation in Congress

MAX Light Rail
Heavy Use Expected Sunday, 18 October
There will be a March for the Public Option rally in downtown Portland on Sun., 18 Oct., from noon to 3 p.m. Please expect light rail ridership before & after this event to be much heavier than usual.
MAX Adds Green Route
Trimet's MAX Light Rail has added a new green line for greater convenience, including a direct trip from the OCC to Portland State University.
