Housing is provided in the Suites dormitories at Northern Arizona University, and includes semi-private rooms with a shared bathroom. A linen package with sheets, blanket, pillow and towels are provided though cold sleepers may want to bring an extra blanket just in case. If you have a preferred suitemate for the workshop please indicate their name in the appropriate space and ask that they indicate your name when registering. Suitemate selections will be honored where possible assuming all parties register for the workshop by the early registration deadline.
Parking permits are available through NAU Camps & Conferences for $7 per day if pre-ordered. Parking permits will be distributed at check in.
Northern Arizona University catering will provide food for the workshop. Meals on campus will be held in the assigned dining hall at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Participants will be issued appropriate identification for use in accessing the dining hall during the hours set by the university. Lunch on the field trips will be in bag form prepared by the university and transported with the bus on the field trip each day.
GSA is committed to providing GeoTeachers workshops for the entire population of educators. To assist us in finalizing the details of the field trips, please indicate if you require special accommodations or dietary considerations by checking the box on your registration form.
