By Motor Vehicle:

Baltimore is located at the junction of Interstates 95, 83 and 70.

From I-95 north: Follow I-95 south through the Fort McHenry Tunnel to Exit 53 (I-395 north). After exiting, bear left, following signs towards Inner Harbor. Continue in center or right lane. At the 5th light make a right on West Baltimore Street. Get into the left lane and follow West Baltimore Street two blocks. Make a left on South Hanover Street. Go one block and turn left onto West Fayette Street at the entrance to Sheraton City Center Hotel.

From I-95 south: Follow I-95 north to Exit 53 (I-395 north). After exiting, bear left, following signs towards Inner Harbor. Continue in center or right lane. At the 5th light make a right on West Baltimore Street. Get into the left lane and follow West Baltimore Street two blocks. Make a left on South Hanover Street. Go one block and turn left onto West Fayette Street at the entrance to Sheraton City Center Hotel.

From I-83: Follow I-83 south to merger with I-695 west (Baltimore Beltway). Continue on I-695 west/I-83 south about 1 mile to Exit 23A (I-83 south, Jones Falls Expressway). Proceed south to Exit 1 (Fayette Street). Exit right onto Fayette Street and continue for seven blocks to the entrance of the Sheraton City Center Hotel (which will be on the left).

From I-70: Follow I-95 east to Exit 91A (I-695 south). Take I695 to Exit 11A (I-95 North). Proceed on I-95 north to Exit 53 (I-395 north). After exiting, bear left, following signs towards Inner Harbor. Continue in center or right lane. At the 5th light make a right on West Baltimore Street. Get into the left lane and follow West Baltimore Street two blocks. Make a left on South Hanover Street. Go one block and turn left onto West Fayette Street at the entrance to Sheraton City Center Hotel.

The Sheraton City Center Hotel entrance is located at 101 West Fayette Street, a westbound one-way street. Downtown Baltimore consists of numerous one-way streets. At rush hours (weekdays 7-9:30 a.m. and 4-7 p.m.) there is much traffic congestion in the downtown and Inner Harbor area.

By Metro Subway: For those traveling to Baltimore from the west, northwest and north an easy option is to leave your vehicle in the parking lot (no charge for parking) at the Owings Mills Metro Station (5018 Painters Mill Road) and take the Baltimore Metro Subway to downtown and the Charles Center Station (1 block southeast of the Sheraton City Center Hotel). The one-way fare from Owings Mills to Charles Center station is US$1.60 and travel time is ~30 minutes.

By Air:

Baltimore’s BWI Marshall Airport is served by numerous airlines and is located about eight miles south of downtown. Light rail service runs from the airport to downtown. The one-way fare is US$1.60 and meeting participants should exit off the train at the University Center/Baltimore Street stop (two stops north of Camden Yards/Orioles Park). The Sheraton City Center Hotel is two blocks east-northeast of University Center/Baltimore Street stop. Trains run at approximately half-hour intervals and the transit time from BWI to downtown is ~30 minutes. Taxis are also available at BWI airport.

By Train:

MARC train service is available into Baltimore’s Camden Station from Washington’s Union Station (MARC Camden Line). The one-way fare is US$7 and the trip takes approximately an hour and ten minutes. Departures occur in the morning between 6:30 and 8 a.m. and in the afternoon/evening between 4 and 7:30 p.m. For more information visit MARC Train Service. The Sheraton City Center Hotel is five blocks north-northeast of Camden Station.

Parking

No free parking is available in downtown Baltimore. The Sheraton City Center Hotel has a garage and parking rates range from US$19-34 per day. The garage cannot accommodate vehicles over 6 ft 7 inches in height. School vans and high-clearance SUVs will most likely not fit in the Sheraton City Center’s garage. Parking is available for US$10 per day in Lot C at the Camden Yards Sports Complex, located about 9-10 blocks south-southwest of the Sheraton City Center Hotel. To access Lot C use Exit 53 from I-95 and take first exit on the right (Russell Street). Make a Right at the stoplight (onto Lee Street/ Ripken Way); then a Right into the entrance of Lot C. To reach Lot C from Downtown Take Howard Street south, make a right turn at Conway Street (near Camden Warehouse). Proceed down the service road to the entrance to Lot C.
