Most professional development courses and workshops offer CEUs. One CEU comprises 10 hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction.

Short Courses Especially for K–12 Teachers

If you haven’t already registered for a short course, check with the Registration Desk in Lobby B, which opens at 7 a.m. on Saturday, for availability. There is no meeting registration fee for K–12 professionals who wish only to take an annual-meeting–related short course; however, an additional US$30 fee applies to all on-site course registrations.
