GSA Foundation Silent Auction:

Support the Geosciences and Become Famous!

Hot Auction ItemHot Auction Item

GSA member-novelist Sarah Andrews promises that the KILLER, the VICTIM, and another CHARACTER in two upcoming Em Hansen forensic geology mystery novels will be named after winning bidders. Winners will also be recognized in the acknowledgement page of the book in which they appear.

Minimum bid: $1000.

Make it a priority to stop by the Foundation booth on the exhibit floor of the convention center to participate in the Silent Auction. With more than 200 items, the Auction is a great place to purchase meal certificates, Christmas gifts, vacation packages, rock and mineral specimens, and other fun items donated by Foundation supporters.

Your participation in the Auction supports a number of GSA needs. Last year the Foundation Auction raised about $13,000 that was used to support student travel grants to GSA meetings, both domestic and international, and student research grants. Help us make the Auction even more successful in 2004.
