South-Central Section
STUDENT RESEARCH GRANTS
For Graduate and Undergraduate Students
The South-Central Section of the Geological Society of America offers competitive graduate and undergraduate research grants to students enrolled in universities in the South-Central Section and who are student members of the Geological Society of America. Grant applications from graduate students are considered separately from those from undergraduate students.
Graduate students seeking funding must apply to National GSA following its application process; the SCS will consider separate or supplemental funding of those applications. Students should have the objective of presenting the results of their research at a South-Central Section or Annual GSA meeting.
Undergraduate applications (2 copies) must be postmarked no later than 1 March 2010, and awards will be made by 30 April 2010.
