Golden Spike Marks Cenomanian-Turonian Boundary in Pueblo, Colorado, USA
GSA President Suzanne Mahlburg Kay was one of the participants in a 25 Oct. ceremony celebrating the placement of a Global Stratotype Section and Point marker (or "golden spike") at Lake Pueblo State Park in Pueblo, Colorado, USA. The park signage and monument are the result of an NSF grant to Brad Sageman of Northwestern University and Brad Singer and Steve Meyers of the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
