Meet Members of Congress to Discuss the Value of Geoscience Research
August is the time when you can meet with your congressional representatives without coming to Washington. Join GSA in the first Geosciences District Visits Days (GEO-DVD) from 1-14 August and meet with your elected representatives when they return to their home districts!

Or come to Washington to participate in Geosciences Congressional Visits Day (GEO-CVD) on 16-17 September. During this annual event, participants spend a half day in a workshop honing their skills and then a day on Capitol Hill meeting with Members of Congress and their staff. This is a great opportunity to have a direct impact on the process of government and to expand your science communication skill set!
